August is OVER?

The last day in August we headed to Eugene. We went to U-pick farm. We got peaches, tomatoes and green beans!!! TOTALLY exciting. Of course, one of my favorite things to do!! Pick fresh produce.
Then we went to the lake, Justin and I were lazy and decided just to watch the boys play in the lake. Justin would swing them and they just had a ball!
Look at those strong boys!! They have been eating their Peaches.

In August we were so fortunate to have the Hills come and visit us. I hope they find our area their new vacation town. It was so much fun to stay up at night visiting, and going to the beach, and lake. We saw some amazing things.
Justin is Young Mens President and is very busy with several activities. He is busy with the backpacking, camp outs, and white water rafting. He is enjoying the outdoors. Over labor Day our plans were to go North for a train ride, and see some light houses. We were "rained" out.. (the weather man is ALWAY wrong, why do I believe in it?). Justin couldn't handle not camping so he set up a tent on the back porch. He had his own Father-Son camp out. Camden and I enjoyed the luxury of our own beds. It was almost midnight when Brayden stopped talking. I was laying in bed just giggling. They had fun.

We have had fun going to the lake multiple times a week, and all the hiking. Most of all we enjoy spending time with many of the great people that we have met here. We have had fun with parties, BBQ's and the company of others.
Oh, and what would we be like without a project? Over Labor Day we decided to get a jump start on a few projects. We painted my bathroom, new light fixture, and hung the mirror. We have a terrible deck, and fence in the front yard. We have decided to trade it for a playhouse. Final pictures are to come.

This is Camden taking out the deck. He is a hard worker!
