A day at the Aquarium

Today we made the trip to Newport, OR to see the Aquarium that everyone talks about. It was so much fun, and I think it was even more fun that my boys are getting older. Brayden was so into it. This Aquarium is smaller than the National Aquarium in Baltimore, but it has many more hands on things for the kids. My friend Tawny has a year membership and we get to go with her for FREE, man I love that word.

This is Tawna and her daughter Lyla... they are touching the sharks and the Rays. Brayden loved that, Camden would say " Sharks scary!!!" He never even got his hand wet. I tried, but there was no way.

We got to see the Sea lions and Harbor seals get lunch. This Harbor Seal came up to the glass and just looked at Brayden and this little boy forever. Braydens quote of the day: " Mom, these Sea Lions are ALIVE!!" Just a few days earlier we went to the beach and there was a dead Sea Lion washed up, the kids went and looked at it, so that is why it was so amazing to see one alive.

We got to see the otters get fed too, the boys were just glued to the glass. They loved it all. Brayden didn't want to got home, and now he talks about all the things he wants to show dad when he comes with us.

This was a cool exibit with the fish swimming all around you and even below you. The hardest part of the day was that my camera officially broke!! It is done for. Now we have to start looking for another one, and the boys birthdays are coming up so fast... AAAAHHH
