Our big news...

Yes, that is a little bump... we are pregnant with baby number 3!!
This pictures is at 10 weeks!!! Seriously 10 weeks? I didn't show that much until 20 weeks with the first. So it goes with baby #3. We are currently 15 weeks, and due in August. We are so excited.

I have had a difficult time this time around. There has been plenty of morning, day, and night sickness. Then to top it off I have been caring for sick kids, and then got Bronchitis and have been coughing for the last 5 weeks. The mixture of pregnancy with coughing leads to pure misery. There were many times that I would cough myself to vomiting... Lovely. huh?

I have always loved food, and I don't know what went wrong, is it that I have to eat every 2 hours, or I vomit, or I eat the wrong foods and I vomit makes me feel that food is not my friend right now.

Funny stories: 1: At 10 weeks pregnant I finally decided to try a midwife over an OBGYN, but before I could make an appointment I needed to take their pregnancy test. So, I went to the clinic and after about 10 minutes I got called back into this little hallway and this young girl nervously told me that I was pregnant, and that the test came back positive. I looked at her, not really knowing what to say or do. I just laughed and ate some more pretzels to calm the nausea. She then told me I could make an appointment.

2. We asked Brayden what my favorite food is, His response: PRETZELS... seriously that is what is getting me through the day.

3. Justin asked Brayden if he was excited for mommy to start feeling better and he said NO, because he likes Pajama days.

4. My boys always ask if you are a bad guy before they start attacking. Now they ask if you have a baby in your tummy... (mommy is now off limits)

Scary story: We finally made it to the doctor at 14 weeks and we told her that there are many multiples in my family, and I am always nervous of twins. This time I was even more concerned because of the weight gain, the belly fairy visiting me entirely too early, and the extreme morning sickness that I have had. As we listened to the heartbeat, she found two distinct sounds, one on each side of my stomach. Justin started making funny faces and the midwife never said ANYTHING!! She scheduled us for an ultrasound and so yesterday we found out that we are having ONE baby!! I was excited, it was fun to see the baby and see it move all over. Justin was kind of disappointed. I cannot imagine the amount of work twins would be. I am glad I don't have to experience it this time around.

I'm glad I'm sitting at my computer so that I can read your post first! Congrats again. We're excited for you guys. Even though it would have been a crazy fun adventure with twins, I bet you are a little relieved to only have 1 baby in your tummy.

Awwww, congratulations! Yup, your muscles and ligaments DEFINITELY give up faster with baby number three, and the aches and pains come along with it!

Can't wait to hear all about your pregnancy!

I am sorry you are so sick! I can empathize.. That is EXACTLY how I was with Whitney. I threw up 14 times a day but if I took Zofran it was only 7. Still not great, but better. I remember my throat always hurt. It will get better for you though, I promise! I can't wait until you find out what it is! your in my prayers! Loveya!

Hooray! Looks like this 12 month period is going to be busy for the girls of ol' #33. Should make for an interesting reunion sometime!

Congratulations for the wee one. And having been sick before with pregnancy, I'm sorry you're still feeling icky.

Congrats guys! Great news. Once we announced we were expecting, we figured we'd hear from you guys about 2 months later since all your kids and ours are spaced apart as such.

Congratulations Guys! I think its a girl! My OB in OK told me you are usually more sick with one sex over the other! This was the case with me. Boys make me puke...puke....puke! I knew I was having a boy this time. If you are still throwing up try taking half a unisom in the am and half in the pm along with vitamin B6 in the pm. It cut my throwing up down from 6-7 times a day to 1-2 times. Its all over the counter and completely safe. And the bump....mine has just gotten bigger and bigger on the 3rd! I am terrified of what it will be by the end! Hope Justin had a great 31st birthday on Saturday. We thought of him!

Congratulations Linton Family! Your little bump is adorable. I hope you feel better soon and make sure you blog lots and lots of pictures. I wish we could see you guys.
Reading your blog and seeing your pictures is bitter sweet for me as I look out at the frozen tundra of Iowa. We had a record low today... -15 degree windchill! Yuck!

You had my hopes up for twins...man! But SSSSOOO happy for you--minus the sickness. That part isn't so happy, especially with being sick on top of that.

So I guess in just a few weeks we'll find out that you are having a little Erin (that's my guess, or maybe my hope). SO THRILLED!

Woohoo! Congratulations...we are very happy and excited for you :o) We'll keep our fingers crossed for a little girl.

Gordon wants to know if Brayden still has his little swagger? How old is he now?

As always - we still miss you!
