A few months ago my mom came out to visit and she was here to help while we were working on our home. Recently Brayden said, How come when grandma comes she doesn't bring her toys or Grandpa? We quickly called grandpa to tell him he was missed, so he finally ventured out of Brigham to visit. We had so much fun. We went hiking, boating, to the beach, playgrounds, and of course fishing.
My parents are very cute grandparents. Brayden and Camden loved their affection and love. Camden threw a fit when they left , and Brayden was looking everywhere to see if they left their dog, Sassy.
This is my cute parents walking hand in hand on the beach with their little dog Sassy. How romantic!! (When I was a teenager, I thought this kind of stuff was yucky, especially when they kiss. Now I feel very lucky to have parents who love eachother.)
These are the fierce fishermen hard at work. They had fun casting into the lake. The best story of the weekend was when my dad caught a fish, and was reeling it in. As the fish was coming in, a bird came down and took the fish from his line. In Oregon you can catch fish and birds at the same time.

That fish story cracked me up! I feel the same way about romance with my parents. I don't know that I appreciated it nearly as much as I do now that I'm married.
