We didn't get that house, but it has been such a great journey. We weren't so sure about the fixer uper part, only because we would be hiring tons of the work. The best part is that it made us really take a look at the financial picture and truely evaluate everything. There is a time and season for everything.

Well in the end you might be happy you didn't buy a fixer upper. We are actually staying in Maryland when we graduate! You guessed it right. We'll be here for at least another year so we'll worry about renting or selling then. Lindsey took a job with a firm and I'll do whatever. We're not leaving Maryland till we have a kid.
I also have learned there really is a time and a season for everything! : ) Hopefully you are happy where you are at!
Wow! Are you going to look for another one? Does this mean you are staying there. I keep looking at houses online all the time everyday. I've even dragged us to see inside a few. But, we just don't know for sure where we will be in a year. We just have to suck it up renting.
The older I get, the more I realize that everything happens for a reason. I'm certain you'll find just what you are looking for in due time. Good luck!
Best of luck finding what you guys really want. I think it will always work out when it's meant to be :) Hope you're doing well!!

Bummer! Nate and I are right there with ya...someday we'll get it figured out. I think fixer uppers are funner to do the work anyway. Well maybe I should ask Joey and Katie...
It looks like you guys have been having so much fun. I can't believe how big your boys are getting. Hope you have fun holidays. Good luck with the whole house thing.
