Fun get-away

Sunset from our ROOM? Justin and I were spoiled this weekend. We went to another town on the coast and stayed in a Jacuzzi room overlooking the ocean. Our friends took the kids for the night while we got to get away. Our bishop encourages all couples to get away for a few nights a year. It is so funny to realize that life is going to change so soon with a newborn.

We went hiking around the tide pools and to many different places of the beach. It was so much fun to be together alone. Recently, I needed a night away from the kids and when Justin came home I told him that after dinner I was picking up the babysitter and we were going on a date. He laughed. It was so much fun, we ended up just getting hot cocoa and walking on the beach to actually talk. We have fallen in love with the ocean and love to spend time exploring and enjoying.

Okay, the other thing, is I think I am obsessed with star fish. I just LOVE THEM.

Justin and I are always working on a project, and before we could leave we had to finish installing the floor in the bathroom, and the closet doors in the boys room. Are we rediculous or what? :) The sad part is that we were excited to work on the house without the kids.
