Going to the Lake

I was able to recover a few pictures from the camera. I am still trying to figure out what happened, and see if we can avoid buying a new one too soon. On a regular basis we find ourselves heading to the lake. In our small town we do not have a pool. This completely suprized me because I have never lived without a pool in the summer. When you get here you realize why. There are 17 fresh water lakes and a few of them have swimming beaches. This is the one the "locals" go to on a regular basis, and it is so much fun. I find that we are usually some of the earliest ones there so we can get back for Camden's nap.

In the afternoon:

It is fun to hang out, and let the kids get real worn-out before heading home. The kids love sand castles, running in the water, and just having fun. This is one of the bigger lakes, and it is so scenic.
