Camden Turns ONE!!

I cannot believe how fast time flies. It is funny that during conference last year I was hopeful that I would have my baby, and now my sister is hopeful that she will deliver any minute. During conference it made me really reflect on how much has happened and what changes have taken place since our little Camden has joined our family. As I looked over the pictures of when he was born, I remember the fear of "Can I handle two kids", "Will I ever get to sleep again and how am I so lucky to have two beautiful healthy little boys."

Camden has added so much to our family and his little spirit is so much fun. He is very easy going (he gets that from his dad), very happy, yet he does have spunk. Camden loves being outside- the second the door is open he is crawling as fast as he can to go out. It doesn't matter the weather he wants to be outside. He loves to make messes and most of all loves to do whatever Brayden is doing. Camden's love in life is FOOD. I have never seen a kid eat the way Camden does (especially with only two teeth). There have been many times that I will leave food close to him and get a spoon, by the time I get back he has both hands in and food all over his face. The blackberries and huckleberries are also something that define Camden. He will sit in the backpack and beg for more berries.

Camden loves people and waves to everyone. He now says "Hi". If I get on the phone he will crawl accross the room and ask to say hi. He refuses to do sign language with me. It cracks me up. I try so hard, but he just looks at me, points at what he wants, and grunts. He is standing and walks everywhere holding onto my pinky, but alone he laughs and falls. He is a great sleeper. He waves night night, and then goes right to bed. It is so nice to have the 8pm-8am schedule.

We are grateful that he is willing to sit in the carseat the way he does. The many road trips would have been terrible if he wasn't so good natured. I loved President Monsons talk about how time flies, and soon the fingerprints will be gone. I hope I can always cherish these fun times with my little boys. Camden has been a sweet baby and I feel so grateful to be his mother.
After his birthday, I will post more, and maybe a good cake eating video... this is him eating rice cereal.. I can't wait for the cake!!

Holy Smokes! I can't believe he is ONE! We sure do miss you guys and I'm super jealous of all the fun stuff you're doing out there. I'm glad I get to spy on you through your blog. :)

P.S. -When Pres. Monson made that comment I had JUST sighed after looking at finger prints on our sliding door and the toys on the floor. Right comment, right time. :)

Yey! Happy Birthday Camden! That first year always flies by. It looks like y'all are having a lot of fun in Oregon. I'll have to talk to you sometime about living in a small town. We are considering some small towns too.
